Meet the Executive Director

Freddie G. Landry, M.Ed., LPP, Executive Director
Freddie, the Executive Director of HHCD since June 2006, manages all aspects of Healing Hearts for Community Development, including Celebration Hope Center, development and fundraising and community relations. Prior to HHCD, she culminated a 33-year career with the Jefferson Parish Public School System as Administrative Assistant for School Safety and Discipline. In this position, Freddie coordinated the drug and violence prevention programs and established the first School Based Health Clinics in the school system. As a Licensed Prevention Professional, she supervises the Children of Addicted Parents Support Groups held in conjunction with Celebrate Recovery on Friday nights. Freddie is able to extend her influence statewide through her role as member of the Governor’s Commission on Addictive Disorders.
Freddie holds Bachelor of Science and Master’s in Education degrees from the University of New Orleans. She is a certified as a teacher, administrator, evaluator and superintendent of education.
Freddie, an active member of Celebration Church, serves in the Children’s Ministry. She is passionate about bringing help, hope and healing to the people of Greater New Orleans who struggle with emotional, spiritual, and physical needs. You may reach Freddie at freddiel@celebrationchurch.org
